Skin Checks

Full Body Check - What To Expect

A full body skin check is a comprehensive examination of your skin from head to toe. During the check, your doctor will carefully assess any moles, freckles, or spots using a dermatoscope — a specialised tool that helps detect early signs of skin cancer.
You’ll be asked to undress to your underwear in a private setting, and a gown or covering is always provided.
The check is non-invasive, takes around 15 to 20 minutes, and is suitable for all ages. If anything unusual is found, your doctor will explain the next steps, which may include a biopsy, treatment, or monitoring.
